Golden Retrievers are the most popular dogs in the US

Hip dysplasia is a growing disease in younger dogs of virtually every breed. This can be a serious problem that will limit the physical activity of your Golden. Although many Golden Retriever owners don’t realize it, hip dysplasia is something that dogs inherit from their parents and gets worse with age.

As a loving Pet Parent, you will want to be aware of the signs to watch for with your beloved Golden Retriever dog.

The American Kennel Associations suggests:

Treating Hip Dysplasia in Dogs

  1. Weight reduction to take the stress off of the hips.
  2. Exercise restriction, especially on hard surfaces.

Hello from beautiful Montana, Trust me when I tell you that I know how you feel. Caregiving my mother and my husband's mother and now my sister who lives 500 miles away is almost too much to ask of myself.

It is not easy, nor especially rewarding or even, in the case of my sister, received with gratitude.

We do what we can when we can and we need to give ourselves a break now and again.

Blessings on this journey. You, truly, are not alone.

Hello from beautiful Montana,

Thanks for the follow. This article really comes in divine timing. My latest book is "Tell Your LifeStory-Write Your Memoir."

May I have permission to use a paragraph and quote you if it fits with my content?

I will make sure you get full credit.

Hello from beautiful Montana,

Thanks so much for caring and sharing. This is something I have wanted to do, but keep finding other places to publish instead.

Keep writing and I will keep reading.

Hello from beautiful Montana,

Thanks for caring and sharing. I was just interviewing a newspaper publisher for a story I was writing and he interrupted or talked over me so much that I decided to end the conversation. He was really concerned that he might lose some control in the conversation. What he lost was the ability to be seen as an expert in his field.

Keep writing and I will keep reading.
